At Catch the Artbug With Hélène Farrar Art you will find an endlessly creative environment and pleasant atmosphere to grow as an artist. All classes are student-centered and individualized to match desires, interests and needs. Students grow to develop their own "studio practices" including: idea development, studio materials set-up and clean up, technique, and the historical and contemporary context to the work they are making... At they same time, student's self-confidence and ability to communicate visually stretches.
The studio spaces consist of a three-season porch to quietly draw and work, a front sun-filled studio / gallery space, a center studio with a printing press and art lending library for students, kitchen studio (with access to tea / coffee), and the "art pantry" - an old Butler's Pantry entirely converted to art supplies storage and accessibility. Also housed here is Hélène's studio, which always has an open door to explore and see what she is up to and speak with her about...
The rest of the building is allocated to the home of Company Wizbe Innovations, owned by Hélène's Inventor / Scientist Stan who can be "caught" making cool stuff too. www.wizbeinvations.com www.composimold.com
